AN INVITATION TO THE DEDICATION OF THE
JACK LONDON AQUATIC CENTER ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON. |

After seven years of planning and building, the new Jack London Aquatic Center at Estuary Park
will be dedicated on Saturday, 10-28-2000, 4:00-6:00 PM. The dedication will be full of surprises,
and will be followed by an open-house reception, a pre-race party, and a pre-race meeting. If
you are competing in the Head of the American on Saturday, drive down to Estuary Park after your
races, and help us celebrate.

| DIRECTIONS TO THE REGATTA: |
** Note the move back to Estuary Park. **
With the completion of the Jack London Aquatic Center, the regatta will return to
Estuary Park, after a five-year sojourn at Jack London Square.
- From San Francisco, Marin County, or Contra Costa County:
- - Take Hwy 580 or Hwy 24 to Hwy 980;
- Take Hwy 980 to Downtown Oakland;
- Take Jackson Street offramp;
- Continue straight to Oak Street;
- Turn right on Oak Street;
- Turn left on Embarcadero
- From San Jose:
- - Hwy 880 to Broadway offramp;
- Turn left onto Oak Street;
- Turn left onto Embarcadero
