Beginning Sculling - $105

Prerequisite: No rowing experience is needed.  Swim test, waivers, and class fees must be received prior to the class.

Program Description: This class teaches new rowers the basics needed to get out on their own using entry level single person boats.  In this class students learn boat-handling skills, water safety, and will be introduced to the sport in a small group setting.

Class Time: Weekend - Sat/Sun 9am-Noon

Beginning Sweep Rowing - $160

Prerequisite: No rowing experience is needed.  Swim test, waivers, and class fees must be received prior to the class.

Program Description: This class teaches new rowers the basics of team rowing.  Students will be introduced to the sport in a small group setting and will learn boat-handling skills, water safety, and rowing technique.

Class Time: Two consecutive weeks - Mon, Tue, Thur 5:30pm-8pm

Summer Youth Rowing (SYR) - $75* per/session

Prerequisite: No rowing experience is needed.  Swim test, waivers, and class fees must be received prior to the class.  Participants without completed Swim Test will wear life vest provided by the program.

Program Description: The program is designed to introduce the sport of rowing to the youth ages 12-18 of Oakland and the East Bay.  Participants will have fun learning new skills in a safe environment with old friends and new friends.  

Class Time: One week - Morning Class M-F 9am-Noon - Afternoon Class 1-4pm
